MARZO IN THE WORLD: Caraibi
Come meglio finire il nostro mese dedicato ai viaggi all’estero se non con un grande classico? Oggi vi portiamo ai Caraibi: mare cristallino, resort da sogno, sole 365 giorni l’anno, e vacanze all’insegna del puro relax. In particolare La Repubblica Dominicana e il Messico. Se alle meraviglie naturali e al clima eccezionale si uniscono anche i prezzi abbordabili dei mesi estivi ecco che il sogno si trasforma in realtà.
Una vacanza fruibile in tutti i periodi dell’anno grazie alle temperature elevate anche se a luglio e ad agosto aumenta il tasso di umidità.
La Repubblica Dominicana, spesso chiamata erroneamente Santo Domingo per via della sua capitale, è un’isola delle Antille caratterizzata a nord dalla Cordillera e a nord – est da pianure.
Molto belli i parchi nazionali che racchiudono foreste tropicali, cascate, fauna e flora spettacolari e percorsi escursionistici interessanti.
Ma la Repubblica Dominicana è conosciuta principalmente per le sue spiagge mozzafiato, lunghe distese di sabbia bianca e fine lambite da acque trasparenti e bordate da file di altissime palme.
Chi ama il diving non deve mancare di immergersi nelle acque del parco sottomarino la Caleta che si trova non molto lontano da Santo Domingo.
Il sito è considerato dagli esperti uno dei punti più belli al mondo per praticare questa attività.
MESSICO
Il Messico offre mare e spiagge da sogno uniti alla possibilità di scoprire una terra ricca di storia e tradizioni.
Nello stato di Quintana Roo è possibile ammirare 130 km di costa che si snodano dalla città di Puerto Morelos a nord, fino a Punta Vallarta, Cozumel, Cancun, Tulum e Cabo San Lucas.
Sono le mete tra le più gettonate, caratterizzate da mare cristallino, barriera corallina e bianche distese di sabbia.
Playa del Carmen è la località forse più famosa della costa messicana, ideale sia per chi ama il mare sia per chi è attratto dalla vita notturna.
Cuore pulsante della località è l’Avenida 5 un viale che corre parallelo al mare su cui prospettano locali alla moda, bar e ottimi ristoranti.
Playa de Carmen è anche un paradiso per gli amanti delle immersioni. Da non perdere l’Isola di Cozumel che si può visitare prendendo un traghetto dal porto di Playa, tappa ideale per chi intende fare snorkeling.

How better to end our month dedicated to travelling abroad than with a great classic? Today we take you to the Caribbean: crystal-clear sea, dream resorts, sun 365 days a year, and pure relaxation holidays. The Dominican Republic and Mexico in particular. If the natural wonders and exceptional climate are combined with the affordable prices of the summer months, the dream becomes reality.
A holiday can be enjoyed at all times of the year thanks to the high temperatures, even if the humidity rises in July and August. The Dominican Republic, often wrongly called Santo Domingo because of its capital, is an island in the Antilles characterised in the north by the Cordillera and in the north-east by plains. There are beautiful national parks with tropical forests, waterfalls, spectacular flora and fauna and interesting hiking trails.
But the Dominican Republic is best known for its breathtaking beaches, long stretches of fine white sand lapped by clear waters and bordered by rows of tall palm trees.
Diving enthusiasts should not miss diving in the waters of the underwater park La Caleta, located not far from Santo Domingo. The site is considered by experts to be one of the most beautiful spots in the world to practice this activity.
MEXICO
Mexico offers sea and dream beaches combined with the possibility of discovering a land rich in history and traditions. In the state of Quintana Roo it is possible to admire 130 km of coastline stretching from the city of Puerto Morelos in the north to Punta Vallarta, Cozumel, Cancun, Tulum and Cabo San Lucas. These are the most popular destinations, characterised by crystal-clear sea, coral reefs and white stretches of sand.
Playa del Carmen is perhaps the most famous resort on the Mexican coast, ideal for both beach lovers and those attracted by the nightlife.
The beating heart of the resort is Avenida 5, an avenue running parallel to the sea and lined with trendy clubs, bars and excellent restaurants. Playa de Carmen is also a paradise for diving enthusiasts. Not to be missed is the island of Cozumel, which can be visited by taking a ferry from the port of Playa, an ideal stop for snorkellers.
